Ring Size Guide Pakistan: Measure at Home

A practical at-home method

Measure your ring size before you order

A few millimetres can change how a ring feels. Measure the exact finger, repeat the reading, and treat any conversion chart as a guide—not a substitute for the product’s own sizing information.

Quick answer

Wrap a narrow non-stretch strip around the widest part of the intended finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure that length in millimetres. Repeat three times. Compare the result with the product’s size system and allow for a wider band or prominent knuckle.

Same finger

Your left and right hand can measure differently.

Right time

Measure at a comfortable room temperature, not directly after exercise.

Repeat

Three consistent readings are better than one tight pull.

How to measure ring size at home

Cut a strip of paper about 5–7 mm wide, or use a non-stretch ring sizer.
Wrap it around the intended finger so it sits comfortably—not loose and not digging into skin.
Check that the loop can pass the knuckle if the knuckle is wider than the finger base.
Mark the overlap and measure the strip in millimetres with a flat ruler.
Repeat at least three times and use the most consistent result.

Common US-size reference

Many online stores use US numbers, but naming conventions can differ. Use this circumference chart only as a reference and confirm the sizing stated on the actual product.

US size Approx. inner circumference Approx. inner diameter
5 49.3 mm 15.7 mm
6 51.8 mm 16.5 mm
7 54.4 mm 17.3 mm
8 56.9 mm 18.1 mm
9 59.5 mm 18.9 mm
10 62.1 mm 19.8 mm

If you already own a ring that fits

Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter at the widest point without including the metal. This method is often easier than wrapping the finger. Make sure the reference ring fits the same finger and has a similar band width.

Frequent sizing mistakes

  • Measuring a different finger because it is easier.
  • Pulling paper or string too tightly.
  • Measuring cold fingers, swollen fingers or immediately after exercise.
  • Ignoring a wide band, which can feel tighter than a slim band.
  • Assuming adjustable means unlimited adjustment.

When a product lists an adjustable range, stay within that range to reduce stress on the band.

Frequently asked questions

Are Pakistani ring sizes the same as US sizes?

Stores in Pakistan may use US, UK, European or local naming. Always confirm the system used on the individual product page.

What if I am between two sizes?

Fit preference, band width and knuckle size matter. A slightly larger size may be more comfortable for a wide band, but check whether the product is adjustable.

Can I measure with string?

You can, but soft string may stretch or twist. A narrow non-stretch paper strip or a ring sizer is usually more consistent.

Do ring sizes change during the day?

Finger size can vary with temperature, activity, salt intake and swelling. Taking several readings at comfortable room temperature gives a better baseline.
