Measure your ring size before you order
A few millimetres can change how a ring feels. Measure the exact finger, repeat the reading, and treat any conversion chart as a guide—not a substitute for the product’s own sizing information.
Wrap a narrow non-stretch strip around the widest part of the intended finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure that length in millimetres. Repeat three times. Compare the result with the product’s size system and allow for a wider band or prominent knuckle.

How to measure ring size at home
Common US-size reference
Many online stores use US numbers, but naming conventions can differ. Use this circumference chart only as a reference and confirm the sizing stated on the actual product.

If you already own a ring that fits
Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter at the widest point without including the metal. This method is often easier than wrapping the finger. Make sure the reference ring fits the same finger and has a similar band width.
Frequent sizing mistakes
- Measuring a different finger because it is easier.
- Pulling paper or string too tightly.
- Measuring cold fingers, swollen fingers or immediately after exercise.
- Ignoring a wide band, which can feel tighter than a slim band.
- Assuming adjustable means unlimited adjustment.
When a product lists an adjustable range, stay within that range to reduce stress on the band.
